My name is Mr. Jaimie Nailon. I have been teaching at South Junior High for twelve years. I believe students are responsible for their own actions. In my class each student will be held accountable for their actions, both positive and negative. Every student at South will be faced with choices that will affect their futures. The decisions that they make will help determine their success or failure, here and later on in life. Please students choose wisely.
I am also a coach, I have coached softball for the last 10 years. Sports and academics go hand in hand. The more you practice the better your results will be. If you dedicate yourself to becoming a good student, like athletes dedicate themselves to their sport, then you will be successful and learn many valuable lessons beyond what is taught in the classroom.
In order to be successful you will fail many times. The key to success is having a vision of what you want to accomplish and then the perseverence to keep moving towards your goals. Losers quit when the going gets tough. There is a saying that "Winners never quit and Quitters never win."
